july 12: saul, plaza hotel worker

i like reading at the plaza.  he likes working at the plaza.  we met on the subway.  he told me stories about celebs- big ones, like lady gaga, he said - coming and staying at the plaza.  he said that if i were to move here, i should get a job at the plaza.  and then i'd have some stories to share about them too.

his advice was,


be nice to everyone, but choose your friends --- the people that you spend a lot of time with --- very carefully.  you can't be around someone for long amounts of time without being affected by their behavior.  now this can be positive if you are around uplifting people.  this is also why he loves his family so much - his wife makes him a better person everyday, he said.
